Not for me...... 10.28.06 9:01am

My friend Bejay sent an email with the subject being, “Republican Beliefs.” I have selected some of that list, and would like to share them with you, if for no other reason than for you to have a good laugh.

Jesus loves you and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden"diversion.

Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is socialism.

HMOs and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

And now 7sz’s absolute favorite……..

Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host; then, it's an illness and you need our prayers for your recovery.

Recap of Last Night 10.26.06 6:25pm

Last night was amazing. The children really gave you something. Gigi Monroe started the night off great with an S&M number complete with a shaved head boy as her slave. Nicole Paige Brooks brought you Cinderella with a gown so gorgeous my eyes were hurting. Lastly, Genre gave you complete and utter fantasy with a lots of ivy and a stab wound. She will have to explain it to you. All I can say is that, there is not a craft store inside the perimeter that has ANY fake ivy in stock.

Wednesdays are now Wonderful 10.25.06 5:57pm

The last month has brought me many great things. A trip back home to my high school reunion, which turned out to be a lot of fun, changing foliage which makes my thirteen minute drive to and from work a little more interesting, and last but not least, DRAG IDOL 3.

Each Wednesday I sit at my desk anxiously awaiting the evening hours, knowing that soon, I will be entertained by gender illusion of all sorts.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with DRAG IDOL 3, it is a competition very much like American Idol, but on drag terms. Each week, there is a different theme, ie; broadway, rock, country etc. Tonight is Fantasy. MMhhhh I wonder what the girls and boys will bring to the table this evening.

I haven’t been addicted to anything like this in some time. When I lived in Atlanta before, I used to love going to see Morticia Deville and the Gospel Echos, and would be upset when I missed a Sunday night. I have yet to miss a night of DI3.

It is the most fun you can have on a Wednesday night. What am I saying, it is the highlight of my week. This coming from a person who claims he has never seen a bad drag show.

That’s really all I have to share. I just wanted you to know how fabulous my Wednesday nights are these days.

P. Lindsay shared with me this interesting article about Wal-Mart’s state of affairs. His blog is down right now for repairs. Bless his heart.

The following article tells the story of how one “mega-church” leader finally said “Enough is Enough!” Here’s a quick line………

The church should steer clear of politics, give up moralizing on sexual issues, stop claiming the United States as a “Christian nation” and stop glorifying American military campaigns.

Now, how is that Sunday School lesson treating you?

Ryan shared with me this article about Green Burials, which I thought was extremely interesting. Take a minute and check it out.

Lastly, below is a video that Michael Melton shared with me. It is so painfully 80s, that it hurts!

You Better......OK I Will Not Go There 08.09.06 6:35pm

I have to give props where props are due, and today I feel like giving them to RuPaul. He says what’s on his mind about dykes on bikes, bearded drag queens, and other things the local news media tend to capture when covering a pride event.

I have one thing to say……..Preach On SISTER GIRL.

StaceyAnn Chin 07.24.06 4:39pm

I received in my inbox recently, a copy of Staceyann Chin’s speech/rant at the Gay Games in Chicago. It has some great points in it, and with that being said, she’s been referred to as “the angry lesbian” on a couple of sports threads that I have read. Anyway, if you have the need for some angst, or just want to read someone else’s, click here, then visit her cyber-journal. You will find the speech/rant in its entirety there.
